What does Good Better Best sell?

Our top focus is our service, helping you to build a plan to transition your home and personal products to better for you options and delivering them direct to you.  Our products are home and personal care items which go on, in or around your body.  We prioritize products which can be refilled to reduce our impact on the planet and we offer multiple options to refill products in the local Nashville area. 

In a nut shell, we sell our research and time to help you shop for all the products you need, selecting products which are better for you and the world.

How are you different from a refill store?

We come to you.  Our business is focused on 'Making Better Easy' by delivering your products and coming to your home to refill on a monthly or as needed basis.  We are a concierge team and we want to do the work for you.

How are you "Making Better Easy"?

We want to do the work for you.  Researching all of the ingredients on every product (which often change) is time consuming and not a whole lot of fun.  It takes time to sift through all of the options we see in stores, therefore we 'Make Better Easy' by doing the time consuming work for you.  Our concierge service is the highest form of 'Easy' as we will come into your home, change your products out and keep them filled, reducing your need to shop for your home and personal goods.

I don't have time to read labels. How do I know the products are better than what I already use?

It is hard to trust a stranger, but here we are asking you to trust our process.  At Good Better Best we welcome you to review labels and ingredients, the more we all know the better!  And we also know it is time consuming and who knows what those words mean?!  We take the time to review all ingredients, compare them against multiple databases, and avoid ingredients which are known to be carcinogens, neurotoxins, or hormone disruptors.  If you have specific questions please contact us and we can share more. 

Services

Do you come into my home for concierge service?

There are two options for our concierge services.  For full service concierge we will come into your home and fill all of your Good Better Best products by the ounce.  If you prefer we do not enter your home, we have a "porch" refill service whereby you place all products in need of refill outside your home and we will refill by the ounce and leave outside for you. 

Do I have to change everything all at once?

We will build a change plan to transition your products at a pace which works best for You.  We can work with any budget and timeline, one product at a time, one room at a time or an entire house audit and replacement process...the plan is built for You.

I have swaps I want to make but I don’t see the products on your site?

As a new small business we decided to select the most commonly used products for our store.  We have some products that are not available online, and a long list of swaps we can work from. We are also happy to research any product you may need a Better option for, if we do not already have one available.  Just reach out and we can determine how best to support you.

I do not live local to Nashville, do you offer virtual services?

You can opt for a virtual consultation if you are not in the Nashville area.  This consultation will focus on products we can ship to you along with a plan to guide you on how to make changes in your local community.

Where do you deliver?

Local deliveries are for Davidson and Williamson county residents in Tennessee.

Can you help me with a home clean out and proper disposal?

Our services are product focused.  If you are interested in discussing environmentally friendly disposal for home clean outs, please contact us with an overview of your needs and we can determine if we have resources to support you or provide you with a recommended direction to resources.

How do I set up a service appointment?

Check out our Services page to submit a request for the service you are interested in. Once submitted, a member of our team will contact you to schedule your service at your convenience. 

Can I choose my consultant?

Of course!  You can request a specific consultant by noting this when checking out for services or when making your service appointment.

Products

How do you select your product partners?

We started by evaluating products available in the Nashville area which meet our standards of being better for You and the planet.  After finding great Nashville partners, we expanded our search to find the best products for you which meet our standards of Good for the Planet, Better for our Communities and Best for you.  There are a lot of companies working to make better products and we are thrilled to bring our selected partners to You. 

How do I know if the products work?

Between our small team, we personally use every product we sell- and many of them have been used in our homes for years.  While not every product works for every person's preferences, we feel confident in the quality and performance of the products we bring to you. The beauty of our refillable products is that you have the flexibility to purchase a small amount of product to try prior to committing to full sizes. 

Will you help me select the best skincare and makeup for me?

Have we mentioned we want to Make Better Easy?  Yes! We provide free 15 minute consultations to support you in your product and shade selection for makeup and skin care products. You can submit a request here

How do I recycle my packaging or products?

Many of our products are refillable.  Most glass and aluminum containers can be refilled, cleaned and reused or recycled per your local requirements. Fqor paper and cardboard products please compost or recycle per local standards.  Compost Nashville is a great resource for Nashville residents to participate in industrial composting. 

Do you honor the sale price of other retailers?

"Only compete with yourself if you aim for better things" - Unknown.  As a small business, we are not currently always able to honor sales prices of our partners (though we are constantly evaluating our options!). We do offer a loyalty rewards program and periodic sales, both site wide and product specific, so be sure to follow us on Instagram or subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of this page to stay up to date!

Can I return my product?

If you have an concern or issue with a product please contact us.  Due to the nature of our products, we are generally not able to accept returns unless there is a damaged or defective item.

Do you sell all products from the partners listed on your site?

No. We sell a selection of products from each of our partners based on meeting our ingredient and sustainability standards, performance standards, as well as fulfilling the needs of our clients.  If you are interested in a partner product we do not offer, please contact us

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is $9.95, with free shipping for orders over $150. We offer local delivery for $5, with free delivery for orders over $150.  We also offer free local pickup. 

Loyalty Rewards

How do I sign up for rewards?

You are automatically opted in to our loyalty rewards program when you create an account on our website. You can opt out of this program from within your account at any time (but why would you want to??). 

How do I earn rewards?

You will earn 1 point per dollar spent. For every 200 points accrued, you will be able to redeem for a $10 off coupon to apply to your next purchase.

How do I redeem my rewards?

From the home page, select "Rewards" in the bottom right corner. If you are logged in, you will see your points total and can select "Redeem" to generate a coupon code, which you will apply in check out.
