In 2017, both of us—Angela and Erin—were diagnosed with breast cancer in our thirties, with no family history. What followed changed everything for us. We learned that fewer than 15% of breast cancers are genetic—and many cancers are tied to everyday environmental exposures in our homes and products.
So we got to work like our lives depended on it — because, well… they very much did.
We vetted ingredients, tested products, and rebuilt our own homes first—then turned our cause into our clean living concierge Good Better Best: a service that helps you act quickly and confidently. Today, our sustainability-focused team combines deep product research with real-world implementation—bringing less toxic products and eco-conscious home services to Nashville and Williamson County.
We’ve walked this road. Our job now is to make your path shorter, safer, and easier—because better can’t wait.
Angela Pacheco — Founder & CEO
With more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning Fortune 500 and fast-growth organizations, Angela brings the discipline of corporate excellence to a mission that’s deeply personal—helping others live cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable lives. Having lived the “corporate lifestyle”, Angela understands the realities of time constraint and the need to have convenient services that support a healthy llifestyle.
Before co-founding Good Better Best, Angela served as Chief People Officer for several companies, where she built transformative cultures and restructured multi-site operations for growth. During her seven years at Bridgestone Americas, she led innovation and organizational change across multiple divisions, championing people-first solutions that drove performance and engagement. She began her career at Rolls-Royce North America, advancing through the Human Resources function for a decade, developing a foundation in leadership strategy and operational design. Angela holds a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from Michigan State University.
Angela learned the quote, “Good Better Best, Never let it Rest, Until your Good is Better and your Better, Best”, in sixth grade and it has stuck with her ever since. The approach she has designed is focused on non-judgement, personalization and flexibility, knowing every person has a story and a journey–and Good Better Best is here to meet you where you are.
Erin Karb — Co-Founder & COO
A Nashville native and healthcare professional by trade, Erin leads operations and client experience for Good Better Best with a balance of empathy, precision, and purpose. She holds a Master degree in Speech Language Pathology and a BA of Speech Language Pathology and Psychology. Her background in healthcare education shaped her commitment to research and making information accessible to help families take ownership of their health through practical, sustainable choices.
As Chief Operating Officer, Erin oversees every detail of the Good Better Best experience—from sourcing and vetting products to designing refill and organization systems that make “better” simple for busy homes. She’s known for blending clinical diligence with everyday usability, ensuring every product, process, and plan upholds the company’s promise of safety and simplicity.
Erin’s journey from patient to advocate gives her work uncommon authenticity. What began as a personal effort to reduce toxins for her and her family of five evolved into a shared mission to make less-toxic living achievable and lasting for others.
Outside the business, Erin enjoys traveling, reading, and tackling creative home projects that connect with her belief that small, thoughtful changes can have a lasting impact.
